Laser hair removal uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to remove unwanted hair. The laser emits a concentrated light frequency that attacks the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the cell responsible for growing hair, and inhibits future hair growth.
A single session of laser treatment may effectively delay hair growth for long periods (4-8 weeks). Multiple treatments are required to see permanent reduction or removal.
